The idea of all us pissed off gun owners putting up a sign stating, “I’m a Bitter Gun Owner and I Vote!” is great. It sends a clear message to Obama and the other gun banning Democrats to stop pissing us off. However, it also sends a clear message to ever criminal out there that `this house is open for stealing a gun.' If I was a punk-assed crook, I would go after electronics, jewelry, and guns..all the easy stuff to pawn for cash.
Why would I advertise to someone to watch my house and raid it when I am gone? I would never put a huge LCD or plasma TV in a place where anyone could see it through a window. Why? Because I don't want anyone to know I have it and be tempted to steal it.
Same idea with a gun... I don't advertise the fact that I have guns to my neighborhood, because I like my guns and want to keep them for myself and not give any punks the idea there is something of value to steal in my house.
