I have been watching the Olympics and, as always, I have been amazed by the gifts and abilities of the athletes that make it to this great institution. Be it shooting, or swimming, or track ...volleyball, basketball, or wrestling, these people are simple perfect examples of their respective sports.
The only time I can watch shooting on TV is for the Olympics. It's a boring sport to watch. Doing it=fun. Watching it=nap time. Watching it when even the "worst" of the best can out shoot myself with their eyes closed just blows my mind. Don't even get me started on the likes of Misty May and Kerri Walsh, Michael Phelps, or any of the gymnasts.
Rarely does poor sportsmanship show up at these events, which is amazing when you consider the crap profession athletes do during their "regular" performances. If only nations could follow the example of their Olympic Athletes.
